Updated: Jun 1

Kitchen electronic items encompass a diverse range of appliances and gadgets designed to streamline cooking, food preparation, and kitchen tasks. The domestic application attached to home appliance is tied to the definition of appliance as "an instrument or device designed for a particular use or function" defines "home appliance" as: "devices or machines, usually electrical, that are in your home and which you use to do jobs such as cleaning or cooking". The broad usage allows for nearly any device intended for domestic.

Cooking Appliances:

  • Microwave Oven: A microwave oven uses electromagnetic radiation to heat and cook food quickly and efficiently.Microwave ovens generate electromagnetic

radiation at a frequency of around 2.45 GHz (gigahertz). This radiation is absorbed by water, fats, and sugars present in food, causing them to vibrate and generate heat. As the molecules in the food vibrate, they produce thermal energy, which heats up the food from the inside out. This rapid heating process allows microwave ovens to cook food much faster than conventional ovens.

Electric Kettle: Electric kettles quickly heat water for tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or instant soups, offering convenience and energy efficiency.

An electric kettle is a household appliance designed for boiling water quickly and efficiently. It consists of a container, usually made of metal, with a heating element built into the base. The kettle is powered by electricity and has a cord that plugs into a power outlet.

Electric kettles are popular because they are faster and more energy-efficient than traditional stovetop kettles. They typically have automatic shut-off features that turn the kettle off once the water has reached boiling point, ensuring safety and preventing the water from boiling dry.

Pressure Cooker: Pressure cookers use

steam pressure to cook food quickly. They're great for speeding up the cooking process for dishes that typically take a long time, such as beans, tough cuts of meat, or rice.Pressure cookers are versatile appliances that can cook a wide range of foods, including meats, grains, beans, vegetables, and even desserts. They're especially useful for cooking tough cuts of meat or dried beans, which can take a long time to cook using conventional methods. Additionally, pressure cookers are often favored for their energy efficiency, as they require less time and heat to cook food compared to other methods.

Rice Cooker: Rice cookers are popular in households worldwide because they simplify the rice cooking process, eliminate the need for constant monitoring, and consistently produce fluffy, perfectly cooked rice with minimal effort. Whether you're cooking a simple side dish or preparing a meal for a crowd, a rice cooker can be a convenient and reliable kitchen appliance.
